Lynn was such a wonderful Christian young lady.  Jesus shined through her in all situations.  I feel so blessed to have known her.  

Beautiful memories of a lovely young girl who grew up with my daughters Debbie and Diane Barnhart in Canton Ohio.  We are going to find some pictures of their young life and I can still see her running down the yard every day to our house.   Blessings  to you and your family

Bill, So sorry to hear of Lynn's passing.  We are traveling and just found out.  I will always remember her smile and positive attitude which allowed her love of Jesus show through. Lynn was a wonderful, caring person.  I got to know her at the office where I worked.  She always had a smile for everyone she met. I know she loved the Lord and her family.  I am so very sorry. She will be missed.  My heart goes out to each of you.

Matthew 5:6 from the Good News Bible says, “Happy are those whose greatest desire is to do what God requires; God will satisfy them fully.” I believe that this is how our dear friend Lynn lived her life. She did what God required of her and lived according to His will, with courage, strength, and a positive attitude, most especially during the entire time of her illness. She was a tremendous mother and a terrific wife. Her two sons are two of the most respectful and well mannered young men I’ve ever had the pleasure to be around, which is certainly a reflection of her spirit. The spirit of an angel! I miss our friend and my heart aches for our buddy, Bill. However, I believe that Lynn is indeed “Happy and Fully Satisfied.” I want to live according to God’s will and I want to do what He requires. I hope that I, too, can live like Lynn with the same strength and courage and attitude. In Christ’s love.

Lynn was such an impactful person in such a small body in the world.   Upon moving to Clayton, she was one of the first people I met and invited me to Bible study.  Her gift of kindness and love was felt by everyone.  I was enriched by knowing her and her love for Christ was exhibited in her treatment of everyone.  She was especially special to Chesley as she embraced her during the high school years.  We are saddened by your loss but pray for you to be comforted knowing you will be reunited again one day.

I wish I knew the words to share with you to help grant you some peace and make the pain go away but all I know to say is I am so sorry for your loss.

I’ve always believed God put certain people in different situations for a reason and I  am blessed to have spent time getting to know your beautiful wife and mother.

Lynn and I spent countless days and nights cheering on our boys whether it was soccer, baseball or basketball games. She always had a kind word and sweet story to share full of love and wisdom. 

Her optimism and belief in others was amazing and if we could bottle that up and spread throughout the world, it would be a better place.

I will miss seeing Lynn and her smile as she lit up the room. She was so proud of her family . She loved God and shared her faith wherever she went. She was a blessing to all of us and we are all better for knowing her.

I can see her now happy as can be in Heaven... God gained a beautiful

It was a joy to meet Lynn and your family when our boys played soccer together at Clayton. She was a sweet person and I always enjoyed our fellowship during the time together at the soccer games. Lynn was was one of the sweetest, funniest, loving, Christ like people I have ever met.  God put her in my life when I needed her peace and wisdom. I am sad she is gone and that I didnt get to see her again but so happy she is with Him.  Praying for peace for you all. I know its hard on the boys, my mom went home when I was 25 &  Bill my husband at 45. Just know they are better now.

I can't put into words how much your wife and mom meant to me. She was full of godly wisdom and knew exactly how to speak the truth in love. I met Lynn at Horne UMC in church service as her and Bill always sat right in front or behind our family. She was so welcoming and kind each time we saw each other. Later, through Bible study, we became closer and she helped speak Truth into my life during a very difficult time for me. I don't know how I would have made it through without her prayers, texts, and long reassuring phone calls. My prayers go out to you Bill, as you find comfort in her life well lived. 

Rich and I first met Lynn and Bill at a Valentine’s Dinner at Horne. We sat at table with them and just talked all evening. I got to know Lynn better at work where she would come through the drive thru at First Citizens daily. She always made sure to  smile, wave to me and never hesitated to ask me about my family. Such a beautiful, genuine soul that is so very rare these days. I will sorely miss her . My prayers are to her family as we lift them up during this time of sorrow.

I met Lynn at a CBS class years ago. She was such a sweet and caring person. She loved the Lord and had nothing but a kind and wonderful spirit. What a great witness! My prayers go up for the family. 

Our deepest sympathy Bill, Will, and Zach.  We always loved seeing and talking with Lynn when we all lived in Ellington subdivision.  It was just a joy to spend a few minutes talking with Lynn any chance we had at that time and the few times we saw her after you moved.  She always had a beautiful smile and a warm hug, was genuinely interested in others, and always shared her absolute unending love for the three of you.  Terry and I just pray that your happy memories will bring you comfort now and in the days to come.  

Lynn and I met at CCUMC and worked together on PTA at West Clayton. Her heart was for serving; God and community.  She was kind, loving and sweet. Christmas does not pass without thinking about her and Bill. She brought a poster to church that said “Don’t hang the Greens” during the hanging of the greens  service.    She just made people smile! 

Bill, Will & Zach you are in my thoughts and prayers! Lynn always had a smile on her face and she was the kindest person I’ve ever met. 

When you look up godly women Lynn Greene should be at the top of the list!!  I meet Lynn 22 years ago when our kids were in preschool together, our oldest had play dates at each other’s house. Lynn was such a delight to be around And so genuine. Best mother and wife ever!!!  Bill, Will and Zach i love you all❤️

Bill, Will, and Zach you are in my thoughts and prayers.    Lynn will be greatly missed.   She was a very special friend to me.   She took me under her wing when we attended CCUMC together.   She led me closer to Christ through her friendship, compassion, and understanding.   My fondest memory of her is when she brought me a study bible for my birthday.   She left it in my door step and signed the card with love, God.   I still cherish that bible to this day. 

I will always remember Lynn with a smile on her face and giving me encouragement for my husband George Burmeister, who had pancreatic cancer and passed away in June. Even though she was having treatment, she still thought of others,  sent cards , and served the Lord!
She was such a sweet, caring and brave lady, I know we will all remember!  Condolences to Bill and the family but what a blessing to know we will see our loved ones again in heaven someday 💖!

Lynn always had a smile and a word of encouragement for all. She and I had many  conversations about our love of Jesus and wanting to share that love and grace  with the world. Lynn, a beautiful ray of light, was taken too soon from family and friends. 

Lynn was PTA President at West Clayton Elementary.   I had not yet met Lynn, but was in awe when she asked the audience at the PTA meeting to bow their heads in prayer.  In my 13 years of teaching I had never been at a school where a prayer was said before any meeting.  My first thought was, what a brave woman!  As my husband and I got to know Lynn and Bill we realized how her faith in Christ guided her life, and she truly was a brave person. 

Lynn was always willing to share her faith with others by word and action. Vernon and I feel so very thankful and incredibly blessed to have known Lynn. 

Our thoughts and prayers  are with Bill, Will, and Zach. 

Bill, my heart is breaking for you and your sons.  We know that Lynn is in a better place and not suffering further; but a devoted wife and Mother will be sorely missed.  Lynn loved her family very much, and she was so precious to so many more people.  My thought and prayers will be with you.

We were so heart broken to hear this news yesterday. Blake and I have many fond memories with Lynn at ALL the baseball games.  Lynn was always so compassionate, loving, friendly and such a faithful person. She sure loved her family too. 

One particular memory we have is: She literally stopped a ballgame because a small "turtle" had crawled on the field and she needed to rescue it!  Oh my heart..
