Lillian Hendren

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Clayton, North Carolina with Pastor Bill Beyer officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date in a private Cemetery in Connecticut.

She was born on March 30, 1928 in Fairfield County, CT to the late Eric Rehnborg and the late Hilma Rehnborg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Hendren

Unfortunately, in her later years, Lillian was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Despite the challenges of her illness, Lillian retained her quick whit and humor for those around her.

Although her memory slowly began to fade, her family continued to provide her with unwavering love and support. They take comfort in knowing that she was surrounded by those who loved her, and did their best to create moments of happiness and comfort for her.

She is survived by her children, Eric and Susan Hendren, Liz and Gary Scrofani, and Marsha Hendren. Devoted Grandchildren Marisa Lutz, Erika Hendren, Richard Scrofani, Alyssa Daeley, Steven Scrofani and 7 great-grandchildren.
