Larue Harrison Crabtree, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022 at the age of 88. Larue was born in Johnston County on October 4, 1934 to the late Kyle and Jane Hardee Harrison. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Tick Crabtree; sisters, Betty Parker, Hazel Poole and Mary Jean Barber.
Larue is survived by her daughters, Wanda J. Church and her husband, David, Denise Johnson and her husband, Gavin; sons, Kelly Crabtree and his wife, Teresa and Michael Crabtree; seven grandchildren, one great granddaughter, her beloved grand puppy, Pebbles and a brother-in-law, Hugh Parker
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022 at 11:00am in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00. The interment will follow the services at Maplewood Cemetery, Clayton.
