He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Emma Wuchte; daughter, Margaret Schmitt and her husband Frank of Wendell, NC, son, Thomas Wuchte and his wife Susan of Melbourne, FL; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; one sister in Australia, two brothers and three sisters in New York and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alois and Josefa Wuchte, his sisters, Berta Doller and Frieda Hoge and his son, Frank Wuchte.
