Joseph Franklin Warren

SELMA – Joseph “Joe” Franklin Warren, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Wake Medical in Raleigh, North Carolina.

A cryptside service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, May 21, 2021 at the mausoleum chapel of Pinecrest Memorial Park in Clayton, North Carolina with Pastor Archie Brock and Pastor Billy Nowell officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Joe was born on October 30, 1944 to the late Willis Franklin Warren and the late Julia Viola Reaves Warren and grew up in the Harnett County and Sampson County areas. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and worked as a superintendent in commercial construction. Joe enjoyed his career and horses.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Hilda Ruth Moore Warren; Step-son, Glenn Shaw and wife Michelle Shaw; two grandchildren, Chris Shaw and Nicole Shaw; one sister Rebecca Ann Varner and husband Robert Varner.
