Above anything, he loved to spend time with his sons. Chris loved music, whether playing it or just listening. He loved to spend time with his friends whenever he had a chance to see them. Chris strived to learn about anything and everything he could. He had a brilliant mind and a great sense of humor.
A Celebration of His Life will be held Sunday, July 17, 2016 at 2pm in the McLaurin Funeral Home Chapel, 12830 US Business 70 HWY West, Clayton, NC 27520. The family will receive friends following the service.
The family would like to ask those in attendance to please share their fun memories of Chris and the good times you shared.
He is survived by his sons, Tyler and Johnny Monroe; mother and stepfather, Lynette and Terry Blakeslee; sister, Jaime Paschall and husband, Robert; and stepmother, Pat Monroe. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Alexander Monroe, III.
