Mrs. Jo Ann Allen Jordan

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 31, 2024 in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home with Pastor Jess Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Clayton, North Carolina.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the funeral home, prior to the service.

She was born in Norfolk, Virginia on November 15, 1940 to the late Leslie “Lee” V. Allen, Sr. and the late Lucille Allen Spivey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Mack Jordan, Sr. and Sister Rose Marie Taylor, Brother Ronald Allen, Sister-in-law Lula Pollard, Brother-in-law Richard Pollard, Mother Lucille Spivey.

Mrs. Jordan was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Herman Christian Church. She enjoyed dancing, gardening, the beach, cooking, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her three children, Teresa Ann Jordan, Brenda Jordan Maultsby, and Mac Jordan; grandchildren, Carmon Black Lyon, Joshua Young, Jordan Young; great grandchildren, Dalton Lee, Jaxon Lyon, Cane Lyon, Talon Young, Tatum Young and Lane Young, and Rhette Young.
