Jesse Battle Earp

Jesse Battle “JB” Earp passed away Monday, September 12, 2016 at the age of 85. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 on Thursday in the Chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Burden officiating. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Clayton. He is survived by his daughters; Lynn Champion and her husband Tony, Denise Clifton and her husband Bobby, Vickie Bailey, grandchildren; Chris, Sherry, Matt, Jessy, Heather, Tyler and Kayla, great grandchildren; Chelsey, Jamie, Summer, Carly, Ava, Rayne, Jasper, Gabriel, Dakota, Josie, Alyssa and Luke, great-great grandchildren; Stella and Lily. He was preceded in death by his wife; Jo-Ann Myers Earp, sons; James Dale Earp and Brian Earp.
