Jack was born in Newark, NJ on June 28, 1958 to Philip and Carol Myrtle Faler. He was employed as an IBEW Local 102 electrician working for Century Electric for many years before retiring in North Carolina.
He was humorous and known for his “Dad Jokes”. He was always willing to lend a helping hand whether it be for his family, friends, neighbors or even a stranger. He was an avid New York sports fan. He enjoyed watching and attending Yankee and Giants games.
In addition to his parents, Jack is survived by his wife of 36 years, Deborah Byron Faler; his daughters, Bridget Brislin of Mountainhome, PA, Julie Simmonds of Zebulon, NC and Deborah Cascioli of Clayton NC; two sons, Joseph Brislin, IV of Myrtle Beach SC and Jack Faler, Jr. with whom he resided; one sister, Kristine Bender of Mountainhome PA; brothers, Mark Faler of Taylor, PA and Philip Faler of Spokane WA. Jack was a loving Pappy to his grandchildren and uncle to his nieces and nephew.
His neighbor quoted, “You only had to know Jack for a few minutes to know how nice and kind a person he was.”
A memorial service to celebrate Jack's life will be held Friday, August 2, 2024, 11:30am at The Church of Saint Philomena, 386 S. Livingston Avenue, Livingston, New Jersey 07039.
