Frank Herschel Tallent, a veteran of the US Army passed away on Monday, November 14, 2022 at the age of 92. Mr. Tallent was born in Franklin, NC to the late Gordon and Pallie Tallent on September 9, 1930.
He is survived by his daughter, Alesia Bethune and her husband, Patrick; sons, Mark Tallent and his wife, Pam, Alan Tallent; sister, Grace Greene; grandchildren, Justin Keevert, John Tallent and Crystal Tallent; special friend, Connie Franks. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
A funeral service for Frank will be held Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 11:00am in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home. Following the funeral service will be a committal service at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Clayton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to UNC Hospice 287 East Street Suite 221 Pittsboro, NC 27312.
