Ms Elsie was an angel walking on Earth. I was she and Fred’s regular waitress, through the years at many Garner restaurants . She always had that beautiful smile on her face and was full of joy. She will be missed, they don’t make them like that anymore. You will all be in our prayers and know we are thinking of you .

Our family is heartbroken and still in disbelief that we have lost the kindest, sweetest, most caring soul we have ever known.  We would like to thank the nurses on the second floor of the Clayton location of Johnston Memorial for their caring treatment.  The texts, calls, and cards with expressions of shared love have helped more than you could know.  

Elsie and I worked together at Champion Products and at Brogden Mills. My first thought of her is that she always had a warm smile for everyone! A sweet lady. She was a skilled and productive worker. My sympathy goes out to her family at this sad time. RIP, Elsie.

Me Elsie was one of the nicest people I have ever met. She always made me and my family feel welcome. She treated us like we were family. She will be missed.
