Mrs. Thigpen is survived by her son, Jimmy Anderson and wife, Verlinda; daughter-in-law, Tammie Sue Anderson; grandchildren, Amber Powers, Mikey Anderson, Latoshia Lanier, Andy Wilson and Thomas Wilson; great grandchildren, Zachery Lanier, Cameron Lanier, Aiden Lanier, Landon Lanier, Jesse Powers, Hunter Powers, Jessica Wilson, Andrew Wilson, Layla Wilson, Blakley Wallace and Finch Wallace; sisters, Donnie Jean Yeatts and Helen Puttman.
She is preceded in death by husbands, Jesse Gilmer Anderson and Durwood Thigpen; sons, Charlie Anderson and Danny Ray Anderson; grandson, Brian Anderson; brother, Raymond Raines.
A visitation for Elizabeth will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2024 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at McLaurin Funeral Home, Clayton, NC. Her funeral service will take place Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 11:00 am at McLaurin Funeral Home Chapel, Clayton, with interment following at Pinecrest Memorial Park, Clayton, NC.
