Earl Julius Collins

Earl is survived by his wife, Dixie Collins; sister, Katie Collins; children, Tammy Vivolo, Sherry Flynn (Kevin), Candy Parker (Keith), Chris Shope (Erin), Jeff Lambert (Penni West); grandchildren, Kyle Davis, Chad Graves (Caila), Lindsey Graves, Silas Shope; great granddaughter, Wilder Graves.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brother, Leo Collins and a granddaughter, Salem Shope.

He served the Johnston County area as a respected contractor until his retirement in 2007. Earl was talented in making someone’s dream home a reality. Those that knew him well knew he was tough but had an amazing loving heart.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at 2:00pm at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Clayton.
