She is the daughter of predeceased Jeanette Daisy Autry and William Braxton Smith. Survived by her children Jennifer D. Smith, Charles A. Barbour IV and David Marc Jones and their parents Brian Bass, Charles Barbour III and Art Jones.
Her grandchildren Alexis Newkirk, Madison Prosper-Barbour, Maleah Jones and Bobby Joe Sanderson.
Her siblings Pam Dean, Greg Smith, Jerry Harellson, Deborah Bunn, Margaret Harrellson, Lisa Miller and William " Bud" Smith. Also with several nephews, nieces and cousins.
Her graveside service will be held at McLaurin Funeral Home 12830 US-70 BUS Clayton, NC 27520 at 9:00am Monday, July 9, 2018 for her family.
The family request for friends to show their respect/presence at her Celebration of Life being held at the Wake County Speedway 2109 Simpkins Rd Raleigh, NC 27603 held on saturday July 14, 2018 staring at 12:00pm.
