Daylon was born April 10, 1974 in Raleigh, NC and was a native of Garner, NC. He graduated from South Johnston High School in 1992 and became an Eagle Scout before he graduated. He was employed at Harnett Correctional Institution as their Correctional Food Service Manager II and has been employed with the North Carolina Department of Public Safety for 24 years.
He met the love of his life, Julie and her son, Bryer, in October 2000 and they married of May 19, 2007, together they raised one amazing young man that Daylon was so very proud of. He was an amazing, devoted, dedicated, proud, God-fearing husband, father, son, friend, uncle, cousin and nephew. He loved watching his son, Bryer, play any sport (especially football), playing his banjo and bass, fishing, riding his four wheeler, shooting, his fur babies, and loved just being with his wife, Julie. Daylon’s smile, laugh, his goofy sense of humor, his honesty, his humility, the way he loved his family , the way he served the Lord, touched everyone that he met in one way or another. His bass playing, banjo picking, Christ serving soul will be missed by all who loved him.
Daylon is survived by his wife, Julie, his son, Bryer, his fur babies Delilah, Sampson, Thor, Odin, Kharma and Alice; his parents, Valton and Delores; brother, Jarrett; niece, Aubrey and her mother, Renee; uncles, aunts and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Daylon B. Beasley to The Correctional Peace Officer’s Foundation at P.O. Box 348390, Sacramento, CA 95834.
