To my hero, Danny and I shared a great time particularly at Tippetts Chapel growing up and finding much fun on dynamite boulders from preparing the site for church growth.  There were probably snakes all under and around those dynamited boulders but we lived in a time you trusted God for safety.  We rode a pony named Blaze til he was worn out he couldn’t go another step. I’m thankful for what we were able to share without a dime in our pocket but love in our hearts, we never noticed we didn’t have a dime, we were to busy enjoying freedom and gifts from God that didn’t costs us any money.  Danny sacrificed a lot to take hard stands for me.  For these and a thousand more reasons, he was my hero! Love always to my friend and brother who did the best he was able to take care of me!  Love you always!

I was Danny Eason’s dermatologist for the past 14 years.  Our association began when his daughter, April, was my medical assistant.  He was so kind and witty even when he was in a lot of pain due to his medical conditions.  He also demonstrated such a love for family, always talking about his children and grandchildren with such pride.  I will miss seeing him, but feel uplifted that he is at peace and no longer in pain.  This, I hope,  brings comfort to all.

April and I became great friends in the couple of years she worked at Cary Dermatology before Ethan was born. She was the primary Medical Assistant for Dr. Heidi Mangelsdorf who became Mr. Eason's dermatologist for all these many years.  Leslie Gordon also worked with April and I. We formed a close bond of friendship that we continue to maintain. Les and I attended the early birthday parties of Ethan and Chace where Mr. Eason would be laughing and joking around with us all. We also went to  other milestone family events over the years. I always enjoyed talking to Mr. Eason, whether it was in the dermatology office or in his home. He was easy to get along with and such a good man. My deepest condolences to April and the rest of the family. May your memories and love bring you peace in the future.

Every time I saw you I would call you ‘Danny Earl’ and you would call me “Theresa Lynn” even though that wasn’t my middle name. I’ve known you practically my whole life and have loved you like a brother. May God give your family the strength they need to face the days and years ahead. See you in Heaven “DANNY EARL!!!!”

I had the honor of sharing with Danny as one of the granfathers of Ethan and Chace. There was not a time we were together that our conversation didn't lead to them. What I appreciated about Danny was the Godly influrence he was to our two boys. I had often seen him gather all his granchildren around him as he would bless the food at family gatherings. Danny often exhibted his faith and his love for the Lord.

Danny was someone I looked up to and had a great impact on my life. Over the several years with working with him, him and his family became part of my family. We will be truly missed and glad to know he is not in any more pain. 

Danny and I shared most things that matter: Savior, wonderful wife, children and grandchildren, cousins and loving family, same birthday (7/18), caring aunts & uncles. Same experiences, like sitting together in church & talking, till the Sunday that uncle Nathan called both of us to the podium to listen to the remainder of his sermon from the podium chairs. By the grace of Our Lord, we will share one more thing: eternity in Heaven. We annually talked on our birthday. I will miss that but the next talk will be a long one! Praying for Alma and you children.

So sorry to hear of Danny’s passing. I worked with Danny at UPS for many years. May our Lord and Savior comfort the family during this difficult time.

I have many memories of my Brother Danny and Alma! Alot just church! Some of my fondest were mornings after we took our children to school at Raleigh Christian Academy! A parent named Wayne, Gary, and I would arrive at Hardee's on Trawick Rd. Then Alma to be followed shortly by Danny! We would read the N & O, talk, laugh. Danny would always order gravy biscuit with egg! Now Hardee's didn t normally add egg to their gravy biscuit so Danny would stand at the counter until they got the order right! Then he would join us! We would sit there sometimes an hour or so before Danny would have to go home to sleep as he had been driving his 18 wheel UPS truck all night!  Those were my fondest times with him! We shared mostly after his medical problems and Bobbie and I have prayed for several years for his pain, family, etc. No more pain!! See you in Glory Brother! Our deepest sympathy and condolences to Alma and the family!

All the cousins were close growing up and enjoyed hanging out and sometimes  creating a little havoc. Remember the yard next to Aunt Jeans with the water that we used as a slip n slide. Our Thanksgiving family reunions were looked forward to so we could play football or just hang out. Danny was an integral part of all that. Will be missed greatly.

Was talking with another  cousin recently about how we missed Thanksgiving at the Eason's, how much all  us cousins enjoyed spending the night and playing basketbal. ,ping  pong  down in the basement and up and down that hill to the church, such memories.

I remember Thanksgiving well at the Clayton residence w/the Eason clan. Danny was older but always took time to let us play ping-pong or basketball 🏀. 

Wish we still had the energy to run up & down that hill by the church.

God bless Alma, Kim, Shelia and the Family as we morn his passing but celebrate his homecoming in Heaven. Until we meet again w/Jesus.
