Mr. Connie Ray Barbour, 71, died Monday, February 15, 2016 at his home of natural causes. He was born May 5, 1944 in Johnston County to the late Hunter E. and Addie Pearl Barbour. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 18 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home with burial to follow at Piney Grove Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by siblings, Lois Stewart, Mildred Holley, Leon Barbour, Lydie Barbour, Margie Fail, Louise Benson, and Grandchildren Caitlyn and Colby Overbee.
He is survived by his daughters; Donna Barbour and husband Roy, Annette Overbee and husband Scott, Chrystal Johnson and husband David, grandchildren; Amanda Faccone, Jessica Braswell, Heather Petersen, Colten Barbour, Austin, Chase, Matthew, Alex, Brandy, Evan and Chloe Overbee, Tyler and Maddie Johnson. In addition, he is survived by 8 great grandchildren.
