Christopher Walter “Chris” Krencicki, 51, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2019. Chris was born in Philadelphia, PA. He and his loving wife Christine met in 1991 and have been married 21 years. He had a huge sweet tooth and his favorite ice cream was green mint chocolate chip. Chris loved the beach and ocean, traveling the Caribbean, and all animals, especially black Labrador retrievers. His love of the ocean lead him to acquire and devote countless hours to his 125 gallon fish tank with African cichlids. Chris was an avid muscle car, motorcycle and boat enthusiast. His vintage Lionel train collection rivaled none and brought him great joy at Christmas. No one loved celebrating the Christmas holiday more than Chris, as he would start decorating in October. Children adored his playful nature, especially his nieces and nephews. He also took great pride in his show stopping lawn. Chris was an entrepreneur and proud owner/operator of CK Appraisals in Clayton, NC and found great satisfaction in assisting his clients with auto damage appraisals and diminished value claims. He will be greatly missed by his wife, family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home at 4:00pm with the family receiving friends following the service.
He is survived by his wife, Christine Krencicki; parents, Chester “Chet” and Patricia “Pat” Krencicki; sister, Nadine Cooper and several nieces and nephews.
