Christine Faison Faison Andrews

Christine Faison Andrews, 94, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday August 4, 2015 after a long illness at the Brian Center in Clayton. She was born on March 14, 1921 to Sam and Eva Faison and was raised in Knightdale before moving to Clayton in 1957. She worked with the Johnston County School system’s cafeteria in Clayton for over 25 years and one of her greatest joys was watching the children eat, thrive and grow and always giving a little extra food to any child that asked. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie W. Andrews and sisters Lena Lee and Eula Sealey of Clayton; Mozelle Canady and Fannie Lee of Garner and brothers, Laddie Faison of Clayton, Harvey Faison of Durham. She is survived by her son, Jerry Andrews and wife Nancy; daughters, Pat Clark and husband Stuart; Gail Raper and husband Karl, Bonnie Wilver and husband David all of Clayton. She has 6 beloved grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She is also survived by brother, Willie Faison of Raleigh and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2:00 Friday at McLaurin Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive visitors from 1:00 – 2:00 Friday one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, 411 N.
