Mr Charles Patrick Reilly was born in the Bronx, New York on March, 19, 1930 to the late Patrick and Anna Reilly. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Francis, Patrick (Buddy) & Joseph and his sisters Anna, Cathy & Jeanie.
Chuck graduated from Cardinal Hayes High School and joined the Army, serving for 4 years at Ft Bragg and in Korea. Soon after he joined the US Department of State Foreign Service for a 30 year career serving first as a GSO and then as a FSO stationed in Switzerland, Chile, Syria, Bangladesh,Yugoslavia, Benin, Netherlands, and Washington DC. Notably he was proud to have travelled with Henry Kissinger and Gerald Ford on various trips to the middle east and far east.
After retiring in 1985 and moving to the west coast, Chuck was a real estate agent in Birch Bay, Washington. He was also a voracious reader, a consummate gardener and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Norma; two children, Chris & Anne; grandchildren, Jessica, Michelle & NolaMae; sister, Theresa Mulligan.
