Charles Ronald Hassell

Charles Ronald “Tiny Bud” Hassell, 79, son of the late Joseph W. and Myrtle Wright Hassell passed away on Monday, September 4, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 11:30am on Saturday, September 9, 2017 in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home with Dr. Charles Ray Ennis officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Mr. Hassell is survived by his wife; Marion H. Hassell, daughters; Annette H. Pope and husband David of Wilmington, Joy H. Williams of Benson, and Sheila S. Hassell of Wilmington, son; Charles Ronnie Hassell, Jr. of Creedmore, sister; Katie Lowe of Virginia Beach, VA, grandchildren; Justin Poole, Jessica Williams, Rachel Williams, Leigh Greene, Haley Pope, Cody Hassell and Tabatha Morgan, great grandchildren; Blair Greene, Matthew Greene, Hensley Harrell, Nic Williams and Josh Williams. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his daughter; Sandy Dodson, sisters; Wilma Alexander and Edna Creef, brother; George (Bud) Hassell, grandson; Mitch Williams, granddaughter; Kimberly Hassell and daughter-in-law; Lynn Hassell. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday from 10:30 until 11:30 at the funeral home.
