She was a former resident of South San Francisco and employee of the Linden Station Post Office.
Rita was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Rick Gorden. She is survived by two daughters Farol Gorden-Crayne, 38, Jennifer Gorden, 37; five grandchildren, Vanessa, 14, Jacob, 13, Leah, 9, Nathan, 1, and Alexa, 6; three sisters Marilyn Hopper, Shirley Rio and Linda Boren; and many nieces and nephews. Rita will be missed by all her family and friends, but we will cherish our memories of her.

Family and friends are invited, Saturday, Feb. 28, to a 9 a.m. visitation and a 1 p.m. service at Reichert’s Funeral Home 7320 Auburn Blvd., Citrus Heights, 95610. Reception following. Burial will be private at the VA Cemetery in San Joaquin.
