Chief Master Sergeant (retired) Philip Arnold McIntosh died peacefully in Mercy San Juan hospital surrounded by family and friends on July 8th 2015 in Sacramento, California at the age of seventy-seven. He is survived by his wife Francyne, his three daughters, Melody, Kasandra, and Sheila, his three sons, George, Michael, and Norris, and eight grandchildren, Jared, Victoria, Melissa, Becca, Madison, Toni Ray, Tyson, and Tevin, and of course his dog, Lady. Philip Arnold McIntosh was born on January 27, 1938 in Saint Louis, Missouri. He entered into the United States Air Force in 1955 and served as an Aircraft Load Master with over 5000 flying hours and culminated as an Open Mess Management supervisor. He was awarded the prestigious Air Medal with five oak leaf clusters, an Air Force Commendation medal with one oak leaf cluster, and a Vietnam Service medal. He retired under honorable conditions at the highest enlisted rank of Chief Master Sergeant with over 26 years of military service.
