Matthew David Dawson passed away unexpectedly in his home in Rio Linda on November 13, 2021. He was born January 24th, 1991 in Carmichael, Ca at American River Hospital.
Matthew had a contagious laugh and a great sense of humor. He could make you laugh even when you did not want to. He loved food. In every aspect. He loved to eat it and loved to cook it and was quite an excellent cook. He could turn a bag of potato chips into a 5 star meal. He was very loyal to his family and friends and you always knew you were safe when he was around. Matthew had so much more to offer this world and his journey ended too soon.
He is survived by his mother, Leisa Dawson of Rio Linda, his father David Dawson of Citrus Heights, his brother Nicholas Dawson of Carmichael, and his sister Samantha Dawson of Citrus Heights. He is also survived by his sister in law Amber Murphy, loving nephews, and many other family members and friends.
We were not ready to say goodbye, but we know now that he is no longer suffering.
His celebration of life will be held 12/11/2021 at Reichert's Funeral and Cremation Services, 7320 Auburn Blvd, Citrus Heights, CA 95610, at 11:00am.
