Jerry Lornton Vollmer

Jerry is survived by his wife Judy; daughter Margaret Hayes; Grandson, Christopher Hayes; and Great Granddaughter, Anabelle Hayes; brother, Barry Suggs, sister, Pam Duncan; and Nephew, Jerry Wayne Duncan. He was also the loving Step Father to Patrick Wartena,and Jennifer Wartena, Grandfather to Brandon Owens, Stormey Wartena, Drew Thomas, Matthew Wartena, Kayla Robinson, Ashley Wartena, Great Grandfather to Amaya Dealey, Titan Owens, and Brooklyn Owens.

Jerry was a McGiver Fixit guy and was an Irrigation Specialist for Davis and San Juan School Districts, Maintenance Supervisor for Vintage Oaks Senior Apartments. He also had his own business as a Backflow Prevention Tester.

The love of his life was his Honda Gold Wing touring motorcycle. He drove many thousands of miles around the United States and Canada. He was a member of the Gold Wing Touring Association, Chapter F in Sacramento, CA.

Jerry knew how to be a loving husband, dad and grandfather and great friend. He was loved and will be missed by many.

A Celebration of Life memorial will be held on Monday, September 5, 2016 at St. John's Episcopal Church, 2351 Pleasant Grove Blvd., Roseville, off of Fiddymint Road. Potluck lunch at Noon.
