Donald Ennis

Don was born on 11-28-33 in Norfolk, Neb. He proudly served in the US Air force during the Korean War and graduated from the University of Nebraska. Don and family settled in Salinas, CA where he went to work for the Monterey County Sheriff's Department in 1963, promoted to Chief Deputy Sheriff, Administration; he was responsible for the business operations of the Department. He retired in 1996 after 33 years of a much loved career. He enjoyed his retirement years in Citrus Heights, CA.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Octavia; 4 children: Debbie, Janet, Lisa, and Jeff: 2 son-in-laws John and Tony; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

A Mass and Funeral Service will be held, Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 11:15 a.m. at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 7101 Verner Avenue, Sacramento CA 95841. A reception will take place immediately following at Rusch Park, 7801 Auburn Blvd., Citrus Heights, CA.
