Clifford Jospeh Walker departed this world to be with his heavenly Father on September 6, 2022, with his loving wife at his side. Born in PA November 12, 1941, he was adopted as a baby by Midred and Harold Stroble. He married the love of his life on March 6, 1976, Edith J. Walker. These two were looking forward to celebrating their 47th wedding anniversary early next year, and the chance to visit Alaska and the Panama Canal one last time.
Joe was a Gardner by trade, and he and Edith in their retirement years created a home garden and grew most of their own vegetables which they gladly shared with friends and family.
Clifford “Joe” Walker is survived by his loving wife, Edith J. Walker and two stepchildren, Melissa Garner and Greg Baker, as well as four grandchildren.
Joe spent 10-years in the Marines and fought in Vietnam. It was only over the last year or two that he was able to talk openly about his time there but was very proud to have served his country.
A service to celebrate the life of Joe Walker will be held on October 1, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Horizon Christian Fellowship Assembly of God located at 1300 South River Road, unit # 135 West Sacramento, CA. 95691.
