Charles Robert "Bob" Atteberry

Bob was born September 12, 1938 in Wayne County to Walter and Lucille (Russell) Atteberry. He married Deloris Hodges in March 1960.

Bob was a farmer, an oilfield and factory worker as well as a Park Ranger at Sam Dale Lake. He was a member of the Enterprise United Methodist Church.

Bob is survived by his wife, Deloris, a daughter, Cathy Chambers of Williamsville, IL, a son, Steven (Krista) Atteberry of Fairfield, a sister Darline (Burvil) Courtright of Geff, two grandsons and one granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother, Walt “Bill” Atteberry.

Funeral Services for Charles Robert “Bob” Atteberry will be Monday, June 24, 2013 at 11:00 am at Hosselton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cisne Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-7pm Sunday, June 23, 2013 at the funeral home.

Memorials in memory of Bob Atteberry may be given to the Enterprise United Methodist Church or the American Alzheimer’s Association and will be accepted at the funeral home.
