

Winifred Elizabeth Keppler Doersam, 86, passed away on February 25, 2023, after an extended illness with Parkinson's Disease and Lewy Body Dementia. She was born on May 31, 1936, in Springfield, Ohio to the late William and Echo Belle (Young) Keppler. She was also preceded in death by her younger brother, Jerry Keppler.
She is survived by her children Dennis Costello of Central Texas, Deirdre (Kenneth) Fisher of Ashville Oh, Sheila Costello of Cincinnati, Oh. Brother Ernie (Millie) Keppler of Springfield Oh, Marge Glass of Virginia and Gaye (Wayne) Lauderback of Virginia. Grandchildren Kenny (Erica) Fisher, Amanda (Danielle) Puckett, Austin (Izzy) Fisher, Gabriel (Erin) Costello, Courtney (Nathan) Castleberry, Andrew (Kayla) Costello, and Justeen Costello. Great Grandchildren Kendra, Kaelynne, Kain, Kyleigh, Ary, Jeremei, Jovani, Olivia, and Francis. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Winnie loved ballroom dancing and had traveled all over the country competing in Ballroom competitions. She continued to dance up until the age of 85. She was a master seamstress, making many of her ball gowns and costumes for the dancers. Per her wishes, she was dressed in her favorite ball gown and dancing shoes so that she can continue to dance in heaven. Every day she would say “I just want to dance one more time”.
There will be no calling hours or services at this time. There will be a private memorial service with family in June.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Defenbaugh Wise Schoedinger Funeral Home, Circleville. In lieu of flowers donations in her honor may be made to the charity of your choice.
