Vivian Sue Garrison

Vivian Sue Garrison, 72, of Circleville, passed away on September 4, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was born to the late Thomas and Vivian (Dillon) Hughes on October 4, 1950 in Chillicothe. In her younger years Sue was an avid bowler, loved traveling and riding Harleys with her husband Wayne and their beloved friends John (Melissa) Rodgers. She dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren and beloved brothers and sister. She was previously employed by the Chillicothe Telephone company and was office manager over several Chiropractic Centers in Circleville: retiring from Dr. Lautz’s office in 2009.

Aside from her parents Sue was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas L. Hughes and a sister, Candice Hughes. Sue is survived by her husband of 38 years, Wayne; sons Stacy (Beverly Campbell) Bethel; Dusty (Mallorey) Bethel; grandchildren Hunter, Mason, Kylee Bethel, Garrett Wells, Madison Hill and Great grandchild Milani Bethel. Also surviving are her brothers and sisters Kathy (Jeff) Parsons of Chillicothe, Andy (Kelly) Hughes of Chillicothe, Tracy (Mary Anne) Hughes of Portsmouth and Kenneth (Diane) Hughes of Chillicothe and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 8, from 11am until 1pm at Defenbaugh Wise Schoedinger, 151 E. Main St, Circleville where the funeral service will immediately follow with Chaplain Jim Ferrell presiding. Interment to follow at Twin Township Cemetery, Bourneville.
