Virginia (Ginny) Archer of Circleville age 90 is rejoicing as she joined the heavenly hosts on April 7, 2024. She was born in 1933 to Charles and Catherine Stevens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Russell James Archer, her sisters Maxine (Louis) Gerlach and Kathleen (Bob) Good and brother-n-law Dan Klimovich. Left to cherish her memory is her son Eric Archer and daughter Lori Archer, sister Charlene Klimovich, brother Phillip (Deborah) Stevens and grandchildren: Lindley Archer, Alix (Kenny) Gray, Chandler Archer and Avery Archer as well as her special cousin Linda Mithoff and many nieces and nephews. Besides the love for her family, Ginny loved caring for children which was evident by her devotion to teaching Sunday School and pre-school. She had a passion for decorating cakes for birthdays and weddings, as well as entering baked goods in the Circleville Pumpkin Show. She loved spending time with family especially backyard picnic, Dupont celebrations or even getting her hair done with the sisters by her niece Julie. Ginny and Russ loved to travel and spent many years in the Roundtown Roamers camping club traveling the United States. Also, she was a life-long member of Calvary United Methodist church and served the church with her time and talents. Ginny’s family will receive friends 2-5 PM Sunday, April 14 and 9-10 AM Monday, April 15 at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger 151 E. Main St. Circleville where her funeral service will immediately follow at 10 AM Monday. Pastor Marie Smith officiating. Interment at Forest Cemetery.
