Marilyn Rose Zwayer

Marilyn Rose Zwayer, 92, died at Brown Memorial Home, Circleville on December 9, 2024. Born September 10, 1932 to Virgil M. and Mary Etta (Reid) Diltz in Circleville, Ohio, she was the last of 11 children. She married Clark E. Zwayer in 1949 who preceded her in death in 2000. She was also preceded in death by her parents; sisters Retha Eccard, Ruth Grooms, Alice Clifton, Clara Dumm, and Minonette Diltz; brothers Ralph, James, Dale, Karl, and Roger Diltz; and grand-daughter-in-law Stacey Arledge. Marilyn is survived by her children, Dennis (Daylene) Zwayer, Pamela (Charles) Arledge, and Thomas (Sherry) Zwayer; grandchildren, Dustin (Mandy) Arledge, Austin Arledge, Christopher (Lisa) Zwayer, Danielle (Josh) Chaney, Rachel Randall (Marcus Stewart), and Zane Zwayer, 16 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law Liz Diltz and Helen Diltz; close brother-in-law Robert Zwayer, and numerous nieces and nephews. Marilyn put her faith foremost in her life as a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and while working with PICCA and her sister Clara at Dumm Floor and Wallcovering. Visitation will be held Friday, December 20, 2024 from 10-11 AM at the Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home, 151 East Main St., Circleville, OH 43113 where funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM.
