Richard Anthony Hinzo of San Diego passed away on Tuesday, February 12 at the age of 68 years old. He survived by his wife Charlene Hinzo, son Tom Hinzo, step-children Theresa Rodriguez, Jeff Bentley and James Saldana. Richard was born on November 8, 1944 to George Hinzo and Juliet Torres. Richard grew up in National City as a child and spend most of his life. Richard was a man who loved life, family and baseball. He had many talents. He loved to go surfing, play music and loved the game of baseball. He had many accomplishment during his lifetime. Richard will be missed by all who knew him. A viewing and rosary will take place on Sunday, February 17th at Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey Serenity Chapel : 753 Broadway, Chula Vista 91910 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Rosary at 6:30pm followed by a Funeral Mass on Monday, February 18th at St. Charles Catholic Church located at 990 Saturn Blvd. South San Diego, 92154 at 10:00am.
