I doubt if there ever was, even in the beginning,neither is there anything original or helpful about brooding over our mistakes. You and I know that it is very hard for a child to be good when we keep telling him that he is bad. Like Adam and Eve, you may have made serious mistakes in life...Who hasn't? But there is a way back into Eden.

Begin thinking of yourself as you really are, a Spiritual Being, endowed with power to overcome the sins and mistakes of the past and present. Remind yourself often that you are not really a miserable sinner, but a divine being, blessed with sublime power for making your life what you wanted to be. "What theology calls a lost soul", is merely a soul that has lost sight of its divinity.

This attitude will not make you selfish,arrogant or grasping for your good, it will make you humble, grateful and better able to help yourself or others life blessings, in orderly and harmonious ways.
