It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Michael J Garrido, age 71, born December 30, 1949 of San Diego, CA. Michael lost his battle with cancer, he passed away at home surrounded by his family on Monday, February 15, 2021. The family finds comfort knowing he is no long in pain. Michael will be remembered for his willingness to always help, his funny sense of humor, and as a man devoted to his family. He leaves behind his son, Michael Jr; daughter-n-law Katherine; daughter Melissa and five grand children. He will be greatly missed.
A visitation for Michael will be held Monday, March 29, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Chula Vista, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA 91910. Father Martinez will perform the vigil prayer at 3:00pm. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, March 30, 2021 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Miramar National Cemetery, 5795 Noble Dr., San Diego, CA 92122. Limited to immediate family due to COVID restrictions.
