Maria de la Luz was born to Josefina Avila and Manuel Robledo and was the third to the youngest out of five siblings all who preceded her in death. Maria was born and raised in Guadalajara, MX. She attended school and worked as much as she could to help her family. In 1958 she met Jose Luis Ramírez and they fell in love and married later on in 1959. Maria and Jose Luis moved to Chicago, IL and soon their family began to grow.
Over the years as their family grew, Maria and Jose Luis made San Diego their permanent home. In 1970 they purchased their forever home. Maria and Jose Luis grew their family to eight daughter and two sons. Maria was a dedicated housewife and mother who was very much involved in all of her children's schools. Maria enjoyed volunteering at school as much as she could. She was a dedicated homemaker, Maria loved to cook, sew, knit, garden and most of all instill the love of Jesus in all of her children. Maria was a woman of great faith, she loved to praise and worship Jesus every day. Maria enjoyed reading the bible scriptures, attending Mass on Sundays and spending time with her family. She enjoyed the casinos, visiting states where her children and grandchildren resided and enjoyed dining out with the family. Maria loved to see all of her family gathered together. The love and protection she offered her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren was like no other.
Maria de la Luz was loved and admired by many. She is survived by all ten of her children, Magdalena Cardiel (Victor), Dolores Ramirez, Josefina Gutierrez (Javier), Jose Luis Ramirez (Maria), Saul Ramirez, Rosalia Gustin (Paul), Erlinda King (Leon), Veronica Ojeda (Sergio), Myrna Ramirez-Thomas (Francis “Frank”), Luz Maria Jacobson (Ronen), seventeen grandchildren who she was dedicated to and had a special loving bond with each of them. In addition, she had four great-grandchildren a great-grand daughter to be born in January 2023 and five bonus great-grandchildren. Maria de la Luz was a loving daughter, mother, wife sister, aunt, cousin, friend and a special person who was cherished amongst all.
Maria de la Luz was planted on Earth for eighty-eight years and now on to bloom in heaven.
