One thing I remember about Maria is that she was always smiling, she could just be out of a medical procedure and more than likely in pain, but never without a smile!  Another thing I remember is her compassion for the unsaved and the homeless people; with the unsaved she share JESUS with the hungry she gave them food!  Now she's forever with the Author and Finisher of her faith.

Just wanted to say thank you Tia for everything you did for everyone you’ve even helped me and my family through some of the darkest times of our life we love you from here to heaven ❤️Rest in Paradise 

Maria entered my life when I was a teen and every encounter and moment from then to her final days was a blessing. She was family to me, someone I knew I could trust for anything, someone I respected deeply for all the things she was and did. She helped me climb out of some dark moments in my life, and always seemed to know exactly when to call or text me on bad days. No matter how horrible I felt that day, whenever I saw her number or name on my phone popping up, I smiled. She was a light in many people's dark room, including mine. She served God with her whole heart and loved with all she had, nothing held her back, nothing. I'm going to miss hearing your voice, our talks about God that restored my spirit, hanging up and thanking God for the conversation we had, but I hold faith that you are still with me, with everyone who loved you, because you never quit on anyone and there's no way you'd start now. Thank you Lord, for the gift of your daughter, Maria, thank you for the time we had her. Be close to those who feel the sting of her physical absence, and remind them of her spiritual presence, for you know her love for her husband and family. I ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.❤️🙏

Maria, the most beautiful person I've ever known. Always had a kind, giving, loving heart. She helped shape and guide my relationship with God, for that I will forever be grateful. Her contagious laugh, and the hugs she would give whenever I say goodbye.  The stories she share. She was one of a kind genuine person. Whenever I think of her and begin to cry there's always a big breeze that hits me. Then I'm reminded of her telling me not to cry and that she's with Jesus. She and Sergio are like family to me, and I always admired their God filled marriage. The stories she share of her marriage were beautiful. She was just a beautiful person in general inside and out. I love you Maria, you will forever be embedded into my heart. One day in the far future I know you'll be waiting to welcome me into the kingdom of heaven. Until then it's not a goodbye it's a see you later.

You are one of many blessings God has brought into my life and well as my family. Our years as friends was such a beautiful thing and you became a very special lady to my family. We considered you and Sergio as family and will always love you both. I will keep our memories of laughter, tears, humorous ways and happiness in my heart. Thank you for being such a beautiful servant of God and helping me receive salvation,  for sharing the word of God with myself and my family. Your presence in our lives will forever leave an imprint in our hearts. I know that you are wearing your crown of gold and enjoying being in the presence of your heavenly father. Until we meet again I know you will keep an eye on us all.


Maria was such a wonderful woman of God!  Always sharing her knowledge, and demonstrating her love.  She did not let any language barriers get in her way either!  I’ve known you for a few short years…and you have always shown me love.  I will miss you dearly…but celebrate with you again in Heaven!  Love, your sister in Christ- Tina Blinsman

I will never forget all the beautiful stories she would tell. We would last hours talking and reminiscing. She had a beautiful heart and always wiling to give. She always made us feel special. I will never forget that day at Disney, I was so happy that we were able to enjoy a day with these two beautiful people.

Maria was a loving and caring person who always was there for everyone. I appreciate the food that she would always cater for our family. We are very grateful and appreciated of her. She was there for my lil miracle baby and never left our side she will truly be missed 

Thank you tia Maria for always being positive with me. For always having a smile on your face. Thank you for always being so kind and supportive towards Gaby. We will miss you and your beautiful smile! Forever in our hearts. 

Dannys favorite memory is when he would tell you story’s about him and his friends and you would tell him “you have friends?” And began to laugh out loud.
