Jose was an active and long-time participant of The Golden Hill Community. He had a passion for gardening, sports and the great outdoors.
Jose is survived by his life partner of 45 years, Mercedes Arballo and their two daughters, Claudia and Celina Chavez. His legacy includes 8 grandchildren; Antonio Manjarrez, Andres Manjarrez, Adrian Manjarrez, Ariana Manjarrez, Alexandria Manjarrez, Alejandro Zenteno, Monica Zenteno and Christopher Zenteno. He is also survived by 9 siblings; Mike Jimenez, Eloisa Jeanicke, Valicia Adauto, Maria Soto, Mercedes Callahan, Yolanda De Pass, Josie Pensinger, Deborah Baize and Patricia Jimenez.
A Visitation and Celebration of Life Service will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, California 91910 on Friday, March 4, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
