Gibby was a student in my orientation class who stood out from day one with her confident and assertive style. I am so sorry she won't get to achieve the goals and experience the life she envisioned for herself. I send my deepest condolences and wish her family peace.

    I am an Instructional Assistant at Palomar Highschool. I got the privilege to welcomed her here when she arrived, and I got to connect with her when she shares with me that she attended Mar Vista Highschool were my daughter attended couple years ago.  She was sweet and friendly and really enjoy our conversations.
    My sincere condolences for you at this time. you have my deepest sympathy and unwavering support.

My name is Gloria Rivera , I am the Assistant Principal Secretary at Palomar High.  Gabby was like a little butterfly, I would see her flying around our campus everyday, she had a beautiful smile, always kind and respectful.  From my observations, she was well liked and was always surrounded by friends.  Fly high Miss Social Butterfly.

I work in the Attendance office at Palomar High School.  Gaby had the cutest smile, she was always so sweet and kind and I loved her curls.  My condolences to all the family.  Wishing you peace and strength during this difficult time. 

As a teacher at Palomar I didn't have the opportunity to personally teach Gabriela but I would see her around campus with her friends. From the interactions I saw a vibrant young woman who had strong relationships and a unique style and personality. Know that everyone at Palomar was touched by her presence even if they didn't know her that well. I was deeply saddened to hear the news of her passing and wish to pass my condolences to her family.

I met Gaby in 2016 when I was 18 I used to see her everyday outside from my apartment saying Hi or asking me for favors me and her were so close me and Gaby were “Best Friends” for 7 years now I’m going to miss everything that she’s done for me… for now Till we meet again Gaby Thank you for cherishing these memories with me I’ll never forget you. Thank you for helping me with my dresser drawer and helping me with the kittens from my patio. When I heard about that you passed away 2 days before Christmas I have no words to express how I’m feeling right now I don’t have you to talk to every day I miss you so much and I love you Gaby
