Cristian M. Viera

Cristian graduated from Northridge Academy High School in 2009. Cristian was a wonderful son, outstanding friend, great father, loving husband, decent gamer and incredible coastie.

Cristian joined the Coast Guard in 2009. He became a corpsman to help people because he had the heart of 2 giants. He always loved to help everyone and wanted to help others that served his country. His achievements include a CG Achievement Medal, 3 CG Letter of Accommodation Ribbons, Armed Forces Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, 3 CG Good conduct Medals and several other unit and team ribbons and medals. He was annoyingly optimistic and was always looking forward to new and fun adventures. He also enjoyed World of Warcraft and was a damn good tank for ATNA, Eluster will be missed.

Cristian and Florentina met in Bellingham, WA in 2018.They married October 2019 and moved to San Diego in 2020.

Cristian is survived by his wife Florentina, his children, Nathan, Emma, Jayden, his ex-wife Ekaterina, his mother Monica Viera, his stepfather, Jacinto Aguilar, numerous cousins and several other extended family and friends.

Cristian’s family wants to thank several of his family members, friends, guild members and shipmates for their kindness and support during the challenges of his passing.

A funeral service for Cristian will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Chula Vista, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA 91910.
