What I remember most about my friend Charlotte is I always picture her in my mind with a smile and a twinkle in her eye.  Also when she answered her phone she always sounded so happy to hear from you, no matter who you were...  gonna miss my friend for a little while

Charlotte was kind and loving and such a good example for us all of a zealous servant of Jehovah.  My fondest memories were attending book study at the Day home.  You all were so loving and warm ...oh and goody nights were the best!  Can’t wait till the paradise to see her again.

I always had a fearful respect for Sister Day. Never wanted to have her upset with me. She will be missed until we see her again ! Rest in peace until that day !

My last visit with aunt Charlotte I had the best time with her. She was an amazing person I was so happy I got to spend time with her. My sympathy goes out to the family. She will truly be missed

I've known Charlotte since I was little. She was amazing. I adored her and will miss her.  

An Ode to Charlotte.... 

  we long to see the sun shining on your face once again. This isn’t the end for Charlotte , only the end of a chapter in a book that is not yet finished. A new chapter in her life soon awaits her !

For now , Charlotte rest from all her hard work. For now she rests in Jehovah‘s vast endless memory along side her faithful brothers and sisters, Reassured with the words  (enter into my rest of faithful and loyal servant) .

She always had a smile on her face and offered a warm embrace. For she welcomed all to sit with her and feast around the grand table of Jehovah. So generous, so kind, so patient with her time .

She counted her days worthy and did not squander time  . If you looked for her you could find her rarely missing , no never forsaken in the house of her father . She welcomed strangers, loved her brothers, loved her family and most of all she loved her great God Jehovah ! 

Charlotte loved life and loved laughter , some would call her stubborn and stubborn she was. Stubborn for her family, for her ministry, stubborn like an old friend who would not easily give up on you. Some were fond of calling her mom, Others called her grandma, still others would just call . By hook or by crook , if there was a will, there was a way, there was hardly enough time in the day ,you could often hear her say.

If you look closely in your minds Eye you can see her now , she’s calling to us come ... with her arms stretched out and a smile on her face, a twinkle in her eye full of charm and grace.  And she says once again , Come... and Let us wrap ourselves up in the bag of Jehovah once again oh friend . 

Charlotte was loyal,  she was loving to the end.  We will miss you Mom , we will miss you Oh sister and dear friend !

.We long for the day when Jehovah  will open his hand and once again say ” Charlotte “ and we can see you again oh friend . That’s when the real life will begin.   Psalms 37 : 9-11 revelation chapter 21: 3–7 .
 

With sympathy, thinking of Aunt Charlotte’s family during this sad time. Aunt Charlotte’s easy laugh and sense of humor will certainly be missed. 

Charlotte and my mother Raeona were sisters and great friends . I have several memories of Charlotte and my mom having fun together ! She will be missed dearly she was one of a kind! Sending my love to all her loved ones! 

Charlotte was my favorite aunt. I so enjoyed our telephone visits. Her quick wit and family history always made our visits entertaining. She explained she felt like she was talking to her sister, Raeona when we talked. I know that she and Mom had lots of adventures! I will miss her so. All of her family are in my thoughts. John Days  remembers my wedding Day. Mom,and and my sisters and their husbandsJoyce and Chris,and April and Rodger, and my Brother Larry And baby sister Hollie worked so hard , to make My wedding Day remarkable and  such a beautiful Day (the best day in my life.)The amount of time ,work and effort ,and money spent was unbelievable (attendance was around 400)and touched my heart still to this Day (we just recently celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary.)This is for me the memory that stands out the most of My Mother and  Family all happily together. It was a remarkable Day and a Memory I will always cherish and hold close to my heart. This Memory of My mother remains in my mind as if it was yesterday, I can still see her serving all those food plates and then dancing with  myDad on the dance floor. I  can even see the dress she was wearing that matched my wife’s mother’s dress. What a fine memory of my Mother!


I know everyone in the family is hurting,believe me I know. I Do wish we could all be together during this  great time of need and sorrow. I do think about all the good times we did have together when I was growing up , and how mom kept us all together with the family gatherings. My deepest condolences to Larry,Joyce,April, andHollie.  I know you are all suffering and I am deeply saddened. I will never forget all that Mom did for me and all the Family. Mom was a truly a special person, I will always remember Mom and all the family and how much she truly loved her children . My hope is that someday in the future we will all walk with Mom hand in hand again in paradise . This is my truest thoughts and hope for our Family , that someday we will be all together with our mother in paradise just as Jesus promised. Until then with love from Her son John Michael  Day.
