Britney graduated from Bonita Vista High School and earned an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Kaplan College. Britney also worked as a Hostess at Romesco Restaurant. In her free time Britney loved to be surrounded by her family and friends. Her passions were going to the beach, singing, dancing, and her Zumba classes. Her favorite pet was her Chihuahua, "Roxy". Her favorite songs include: Linda Ronstadt's, "Tu Solo Tu" and "Por Un Amor", also "Tu Sabes Que Te Quiero" by Belonova and "Volver, Volver" by Vicente Fernandez.
Britney is survived by her parents, Eddie Munoz, Martha Munoz, her sister, Stacy Munoz and her brother Edward Munoz Jr. In addition, her surviving aunts are Noemi Munoz, Dora Navarro, Maribel Navarro, and Angelica Navarro. Surviving Godson, Adrian Alejandro Gutierrez, surviving cousins include Alejandra Gonzalez, Elizabeth De Leon, Charlie Favien Velarde, Christopher Velarde, Cesar Benjamin Gonzalez, Brian Aguilera, Tanairy Navarro, Teraina Navarro, and Elida Navarro. Her memory will be fondly remembered by her extended family members and many loving friends.
A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 418 W. 18th Street, National City, California, 91950. A visitation and celebration of life service will be held on Friday, March 25, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, California, 91910. A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Abbey Memorial Park.
