Arthur Martinez, age 83, of National City, California passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025. Arthur was born in San Diego, CA and grew up in Logan Heights. He graduated from San Diego High School and after graduating high school Arthur join the United States Air Force. After being honorable discharge from the Air Force Arthur would eventually work at North Island Naval Base and retired with over 20 year.
In 1997 Arthur met Barbara at a party and ask her to dance and ended dancing all night. He courted her for 3yr before they got married in the year 2000. Arthur had a passion for Dancing and loved Tejano Music. He and Barbara would alway fly to San Antonio for the Tejano Festival. Beside dancing arthur loved to golf. He would love to go with his buddies on a regular bases for a round of golf.
Arthur is survived by his wife Barbara Avlos, son Greg, daughter Christine, two grandchildren 5 sisters and 1 brother
