Elias Medrano passed away on January 9, 2024 at the age of 58 in Modesto, CA.
Eli was born in Madera, CA to Teodoro and Dora Medrano in 1965, he spent the majority of his life in Madera until 2007, when he moved to Chowchilla. He was employed by BAC (Baltimore Air Coil) for 33 years until his retirement in 2020.
Eli was passionate about sports, especially the San Francisco Giants and the Dallas Cowboys, you rarely caught him without a hat repping either team,(except for the days he got a haircut!). He enjoyed camping, having a beer in his garage listening to music with his dog Remington, and enjoying the laid back "retired" life. Eli never met a stranger and if he did they were soon his buddy. He was generous and kind and his heart was as big as his smile, which lit up any room! He was full of life and lived it to its fullest with no regrets.
Eli leaves behind his wife Michelle (Sinks), his son Matthew Medrano, his brother Santos Medrano (Margie), sisters Margie Saiza (Frank), Ofelia Medrano, Yolie Espinoza (Danny), and Mary Helen Medrano. He also leaves behind his father-in-law Bobby Sinks, whom he was extremely close to, many nieces and nephews whom he loved and will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death my his Father Teodoro, Mother Dora, and oldest sister Susie.
To say Eli will be missed is an understatement, there will never be another like him, he was and always will be a champion.
There will be a Celebration Of Life for Eli on Friday, January 26th from 12pm-4pm at Farnesi's Steakhouse.
