David James Canestaro

David is preceded in death by his parents Carmen and Mary Jane Canestaro.

David leaves behind his beloved wife Rosalina of 24 years, (he was looking forward to celebrating their 25th year together). Between the two of them they had a family of five children together. His sons David Simonis, Arthur Armendariz, Daniel (Norma) Armendariz, Albert Armendariz, and Armando Armendariz.

He also leaves behind his brother Michael (Lori) Canestaro.

David was a extreme motorcycle rider, one of his biggest compassions, so much he wanted to travel and ride motorcycles. He also was a huge fan of the San Francisco 49ers and the Giants teams. But still nothing was compared to being a grandpa. David loved his family the most of anything in life, spending time with them, having dinners, especially the holidays.. and being around his grandbabies meant the world to him.

A private family graveside service for David will be held Thursday, November 10, 2022 from 2:00 PM at Chowchilla Cemetery, 23359 Road 14 1/2, Chowchilla, CA 93610.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Cornerstone Community Church, 208 Fig Tree Road, on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 11:00 am followed by a reception.
