Tony was a loving son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend to all that knew him for the 54 years he was here on earth. Tony’s kind, compassionate, and modest personality touched many in the community and beyond.
Tony was born on July 20, 1969, and was the 4th eldest child of seven of Antonio and Carmen Cabrera. Tony reflected his parents’ hard work ethic, giving, and kind personality. He always helped his brothers and sisters whenever he could and tried his best to maintain a positive and harmonious family dynamic. As a kid, Tony always loved playing sports but playing baseball was his favorite. He showed that hard work ethic in his pursuit to become a better baseball player, but also showed compassion and kindness in how he interacted with his teammates. Whether he was playing baseball in Chino National Little League, Don Lugo High School baseball, American Legion baseball, or recreational softball, Tony always left a positive impact and was beloved by those around him. After high school, softball was Tony’s passion. He would play almost every night during the week and tournaments on the weekend. Not only did he enjoy playing the game he loved, but also enjoyed those he interacted with. As Tony would come across more people through his landscaping business, watching his favorite teams like the Dodgers and Cowboys, golfing, and hanging out at Bleachers, Tony continued to be adored by many more. Likewise, it gave Tony happiness when his friends would invite him to baseball and football games. He was a kind and genuine person whose life ended too soon.
Tony is survived by his father, Antonio, siblings, Jaime, Javier, Jose, Richard, Cindy, Mayra, niece and nephew, Mandy and Cruz, and great-niece Charlie.
Tony was loved deeply, and as he leaves us and enters heaven, we know that he is in good hands with God and his mother.
Tony's life will be celebrated by his family and friends and his memory will live on always.
