Robert Joseph Strohman

Robert Joseph Strohman, 75, of Chino, passed away at 9:45 a.m., February 27, 2010 in Upland. He was born May 31, 1934 in Iowa. Robert was a Chino resident for 42 years and lived previously in Harper, Iowa for 32 years. He worked as an auto mechanic for Goodyear Tire Company for 15 years until his retirement in 1985. Robert was a parishioner of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Chino Hills and frequented the Chino Senior Center. Robert is survived by daughter Jeannie (David) Rivas, Peggy (Doug) Lavigne; son Pat (Tina) Strohman; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers Bill (Rita) Strohman, Jerry (Katie) Strohman, Mike (Jenny) Strohman; sisters Sonnie (Dick) Adrian. Robert is preceded in death by his wife Donna, of 25 years. A viewing will be 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Chino Hills, with rosary at 10 a.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., following the rosary.
