Growing up Michael was a social butterfly and loved being surrounded by friends. He enjoyed playing football, baseball and basketball and playing video games with his brother.
Michael excelled in football at Colony High School where he graduated in 2005. Everyone knew him as Big Mike and he was loved by so many teachers and peers. He was accepted into William Penn university where he graduated in 2013 with a degree in Sociology of criminology. It is there that he joined his fraternity and created many friends and memories. These friends turned into family and have been a blessing to Michael’s life.
In his later years, after graduating college, he decided to settle down in Texas where he fell in love with his fiancé Genevia and her daughter Juliana who he helped raise as his own. They grew their family by two with their sons Adrian Bear and Damon Wolf. He was a family man. He loved raising and spending time with his children and teaching them all his favorite hobbies. They were the light of his life and he made sure they knew it. They went on so many adventures as a family and one of the most recent adventures being the local renaissance fair. A memory that they will share of him forever.
He enjoyed the little things in life; his country music, hunting, BBQing and cooking for his family and friends. He loved the 49ers; he never missed a game and shared this love with his sons and daughter. Though Michael is no longer with us we keep him close in our hearts and remember his beautiful smile always.
Michael is survived by his fiancé Genevia, his sons; Adrian and Damon and his daughter Juliana.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents Bobby Gonzales Sr. and Margaret Brown.
We would like to say a special thank you to Michael’s friends that turned into family. Our family is forever grateful for all the years you loved him and made him apart of your family.
