Mark Douglas Mohnike, 52, of Chino, CA, passed away on November 3, 2023. Mark was born in Los Angeles on May 6, 1971 and became part of the Marilyn and Ernest Mohnike family. He lived throughout his life within the community of Chino.
Mark was a loving and caring individual, known for his great sense of humor. He had a special bond with children and was adored by his own children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Mark had a passion for fishing and travel, and he enjoyed spending his time outdoors, hiking, and exploring new places.
In his career, Mark began in property acquisition and achieved remarkable success. He later founded his own construction company, Everest Construction, which thrived for the past twenty years. Mark's dedication and expertise in the construction field were evident, and he continued to pursue higher education in the industry until last year.
Mark will be deeply missed by his family and loved ones. He is survived by his mother, Marilyn Joyce Mohnike, his daughters Kaylie Miraflores and Megan Mohnike, son Mark Steven Mohnike, his beloved grandchildren Sola and Marshall, his long-time partner Julie Aguilar, and her children Chelsea and Dylan. He is also survived by his sisters, Melinda Pitts and Debra Lorenz. Mark was preceded in death by his brother Steve Mohnike and his father Ernest Mohnike.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on December 2, 2023, at 11:00 am at the Chino United Methodist Church, located at 5201 Riverside Dr., Chino, CA 91710.
