Leoncio S. Machado

Leoncio is survived by his wife of 56 years , Evangelina Machado, five children, Leon (Mary) Machado, Rita (Paul) Silva, John (Vickie) Machado, Gina (Carl) Greppin and Nonita Machado, and six grandchildren: Steven Machado, Katherine Silva, Kristine Silva, Amanda Machado, Emily Greppin and Isabella Machado.

Leoncio lived in Terceira Azores, for 39 years before immigrating to the United States where he lived for the past 47 years. He worked as a dairyman for 24 years before he medically retired in 1994. During his retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family, in particular his grandchildren. He was a avid gardener and had a great sense of humor. Leoncio was a member of the Chino Valley DES Club as well as a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church for many years.

A rosary service for Leoncio will be held Friday, January 5, 2018 from 8:30 am to 9:00 am at Funeraria Del Angel Chino, 13002 South Central Ave, Chino, California 91710. A funeral service will occur Friday, January 5, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 12686 Central Ave., Chino, California 91710. A graveside will occur Friday, January 5, 2018 at 11:30 am at Bellevue Cemetery, 1240 W. G Street, Ontario, California 91762.

Serving as pallbearers are Leon Machado, John Machado, Steven Machado, Paul Silva, John Azevedo and Manuel Mendes.
